I really liked this one Jac - so I'm glad to see this finished in the top 10. I think the clarity of the glass breaks and the sparkles sold it to me :)

Great idea and nice work with the lighting and ensuing shadow. The wood grain is excellent as well. All around a great pic!

Excellent study of shattered glass and shadow....wood texture was a great choice for background.

I would say since this worked nicely as a challenge entry, that it does indeed still work, and therefore does not meet the challenge topic. :-}
