This is one of my top votes. I am realy amazed by this simple but effective picture.
It's nothing realy, and it's so effective...

| The plant, which is uninteresting, obscures the face of the child which is far more interesting. It is usually not a good choice to obscure the face in a portrait. If your intent is to add an air of mystery or anonymity to the subject then this would work. In a portrait of a child however it just doesn't work. |

| I really liked the concept of this picture. Wonderful idea, nice focus on the forground hand, leaf, body, but the background is too grainy. You have talent and need a better camera or portrait lens - you equiment should never let you down. Focus outstanding and the colors perfect. Wonderful workmanship separating the leaf from the rest...... truly great detail work! (go get better gear!) Rated 8. |
