Got the photographer wrong. Darnok and Konrad Blum both have images taken around this spot in their portfolio and in similar style. |

Wow, great colors with good silhouettes. Interesting blocks in the sand but they add great feeling. |

love the repeating lines and shapes to break up the intense colors and drive our vision back into the scene |

Wonderful, WONDERFUL photo. Colours are outstanding and the composition is superb. I'd have overprocessed this, without a doubt, but you've nailed it, Well done.
Now... please bear with me... I'm revisiting a little comment experiment I conducted in the 2009-03 Free Study... something like K10DGuy's comments, but with a twist... the twist being, the story will move from one photo to another within the challenge... also, I don't select just a few photos I start at the first and end on the last as determined by DPC random order assigned to me, with a single sentence for each photo... should be interesting... and you're photo is #5 in the series

After the storms and fires had passed, only ghostly remnants remained where once stood the village, and they too would eventually be eroded by time. |

Ok, I really want to know the story behind this! Flooded prison? You've combined ugly and beautiful to create great drama. |

South African photographer and little confused as who's entry this could be. Brilliant colours and the sky spectacular. Nice composition. Reflections coming off the wet sand really cool. |

Nice image, interesting texture in the water. Sky seems over saturated, though. And it seems a bit unlucky that the diagonals lead the eye to the extreme upper left of the image, with no real subject at the destination. 7 |

Stunning image. Love the "liquidness" of the water. This shot could be by Mr. Perold as he has entered an image taken here once before called 'Infinite Possibilities" but I notice another entry in this challenge taken at Kogel Bay with the 12 Apostles in the background and that I know is another favorite place for Mr. Perold. Obviously Mr. Perold could not have entered both images so which one of the 2 is by Mr. Perold?
Aha...I think I worked it out....this one is by Mr.Konrad Blum who has taken quite a number of shots at this spot. The "Kogel Bay" shot was taken by Mr. Perold. |
