| You could walk for hours here and simply enjoy the peace of the place. I'd not have guessed Ireland. Pleased you chose this as your "best of" for the year in representing your trip! Lovely, lovely view. |

| Someone commented that it lacked a focal point so that the eye wandered. I think that's the strength of this shot -- it makes you look deeper and take everything in. Not shot has to be about something specific. Sometimes it can be the sum total of everything! I like it quite a bit and enjoyed taking in the clouds, waves, rocks and letting my eye and mind wander. Well done! |

| How appropriate that you saved a photo from Ireland as one of your best for 2009. I'm sure it brings back fond memories to look at all your shots. I've never been there but I will say that i would not have expected to see a scene like this. The cloud-covered green rolling hills (mountains, whatever, etc.) is so beautiful! |

| nice use of curved lines to allow our eyes to go into the scene - but i wonder if a primary subject would provide teh viewer with a bit more of a place to go |

| Looks like some good quality light you had here and teh scene looks fresh and special. Maybe needs something extra for us that was not there to help create the mood |

| Well, not sure what to say here. I see a pretty flat looking shot with too much seaweed. I think the rest of the shot is fantastic. Perhaps if you crop the bottom tighter? The clouds, waves and hills are lovely. |

| Nice landscape, though the shot itself isn't particularly outstanding. The whole thing feels quite flat, I think a different time of day to give different lighting might help. |
