Greetings from the Critique Club!
Not sure what I can offer as far as any constructive critique - your exceptional score and top ten placement out of 400+ entries should tell you that this is an excellent photograph and very well received. Color, light, clarity, detail - all are right on the mark here. A lovely little bird and you have more than done it justice. Congratulations! |

| absolutely stunning .. the colours are gorgeous ... its just a bird .. but somehow you've really nailed it .. congratulations on a fantastic place in the best of .. it is an awesome image .. :) .. i can see this on a book cover, a poster, a wall, anywhere .. it looks so good .. :) |

What a wonderful shot! I've seen a few bird shots so far but this is by far and away the best! You have amazing colours and details here, and everything in the shot adds to it nicely, especially those little green leaves!

| pity about the orange background and the halos round the bird, In retrospect this comment seems a bit harsh, but there appear to be sharpening halos around the beak, perhapsn this was shot at sunrise in africa, of my favourite bird, of my homeland . there is a lot of detail in the shot. and i gave it first a 5 but have bumped it to 8 |

| Wow the colors on this bird are lovely! I didn't know that they could have such rainbow coloration. Love the bokeh that creates a wonderful golden backdrop for this bird to pop off of. Detail is fabulous as well with it giving me some great details to look at from the feathers to the wings to the beak and eye. Wonderful avian shot! |
