 Point Betsie Lighthouse is located on the Lake Michigan shore just south of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and just north of Frankfort, Michigan.

Minor editing such as rotation, contrast/levels/hue enhancement. I cloned out a few birds which only looked like black spots in the sky. I also cloned out a few people that were standing in the tower and used unsharp mask.

Since ISO 400 was used, I had to use a noise reduction program - Neat Image 4.25 using their defined profile for the Canon 10D ISO 400.

As a finishing touch, I added a thin border of black and white.

Beautiful color and light. I'd like to see the whole scene shifted so the second tree on the right is cropped out, and more there's water on the left. The focus appears soft, as if you cropped in a lot, but still one of the better shots in this group. Well done! 8

I really like your colors -- the shadow creates another interesting element -- well composed. one of my top picks this challenge 9 (a tad more light in the pier and this would have been perfect)

This shot really grabbed me. The light. The retaining walls detract somewhat. Good job. I hope this does well. A 9.
