I like this. I've seen shots like this before that were done with a longer exposure so you see a complete blur of the lights. Your shorter exposure produces the spoke effect which is very interesting. |

Did you use a tripod or rest it on something? The capture of blur is awesome. And at the same time you've managed to keep the sign in the middle clear and sharp. This is a fun shot. Love the energy. |

Oh, I had a lot of fun with this... although the crowd at the fair kept giving me strange looks. I was approached a number of times & one guy asked if I was a reporter (uh, no... I'm actually an accoutant with an SLR & a tripod). |

Oh, that looks great. Love the motion blur of the lights on the wheel, in contrast with the crisp lines of the supporting structure. |

I've always wanted to get out and try this type of shot whenever I see a ferris wheel, but I hate carrying my tripod around with me!
This one's well done, I like that you haven't got with the super long exposure and you have ended up with a giant asterisk! |
