I would have probably shot this in color, then tried processing to B&W first, then maybe add the sepia after that.
I don't know what program you are editing with, but even in basic challenge rules, you can adjust B&W quiet a bit. Try sliding the saturation all the way down, then play with the color sliders, and watch how the image changes with each slider. You can also do a lot with levels after moving the saturation to zero. It works like using deep colored filters with B&W film, ie, a dark red filter makes the blue sky and clouds look nice with B&W film, a green filter helps make skin contrasty and better defined.
Composition and subject are good in this. Keep shooting, and posting. |

The bokeh and tones are spot on with this, I can see why you are happy with it.
The soft focus is a matter of taste. I think when people are flicking through, something crisp and well defined stands out and has more of an immediate impact. |

I really like the tone, composition, and the DOF -- lovely bokeh. I agree it would benefit from sharper focus on the branches and drops. But still, it's a very nice and delicate image. |

I loved this photo and it came out just as I wanted. So the 'barely in focus' was on purpose. I thought it gave a lacey feel to the photo. I was very pleased with the way it turned out, which of course, is why I submitted it. ;-) Oh, and Corey, I have a hard time with titles so your comment was very helpful - but I just didn't know what to name it.

More depth of field would have been great. |

If more of the drops were in focus, this would be a 6-7! |

It's not really in focus. |
