I had a more conventional photo I was going to enter but I really liked the feel of this one. And I went through all the entries of the previous bubble challenges and did not see any quite like this. Some may love it many may hate it but I am happy with how it looks.

Thank you all for the comments. I didn't think this would finish too well but I loved the shot and decided to enter it instead of one that had a better chance. And after looking this over many times I think the border was a bit too large and distracting, if done again I would still use a border but would scale it down a lot.

I love the soft, unclear feeling of the image!

I really think this photo was grossly underrated. Very nice shot.

I'm very surprised to see this as a sub-five finish.

There's something about it... just a very enjoyable image. And the fact that it's not sharp lets us all imagine that it was us as a child...

Lovely image.

Thank you. After looking at it more I see that the border was a bit much. I had a few choices for this challenge but there was just something I really liked about this shot.

Not sure if the lack of focus was designed into this shot. I like the subtleness of the shot though.

This image just feels too over processed for me, and I don't think that it contributes to the image.

Good crop and border ( I like borders )
I wish the bubble was a bit more sharp

Grainy-- but that is not a bad thing. IMHO here since it's a bubble crystal clear would of served a bit better.
