Also, files that have been saved or altered with any editing or transfer software (in this case Photoshop) are NOT considered valid originals.

Whoa - what a beautiful image. So, why aren't you on the front page? I don't know. You have two 'favs' so that's something. And you came in fairly high in this strange pack of DPC voters. So that's something.

As something of an artist myself, I compliment you on your drawing skills. The beautiful placement in the frame of both the face and the dried stalks work well. Everything certainly meets the Challenge.

This is one of those (few) times that I cannot think of anything that would "improve" this image. It is just lovely, and you can be rightly proud of it.

How a simple thing can become a beautifull creation. I love the idea of the photograph/poster as background for the dried flowers.

I wasn't sure what I thought about this the first time so I skipped it, now that I am seeing it again there is something I like about it. I think the shadows on her face work well for the style and the grain/noise is well done.
