Greetings from the Critique Club!
Sorry about the wait for your critique, this is coming out of the backlog!
I think the comments you received during the challenge provided a good outline as to what could be improved in this picture. The most obvious thing is the lighting. To the left side it is too bright and the right side is too dark. Also the rope in the background is in an unfortunate spot as it looks like it is a javelin in his side.
I think the most important aspect of your image that could use improvement is the lighting and angle. Try taking some pics when the light is not as direct and harsh and from a more frontal angle to its face.
If you have any questions click here to message me!

The lighting is way too direct and harsh in this. |

Great face on her, but that.....thing, that looks like it's sticking in her side gets to me pretty badly.....5 |

The lighting is just too harsh. Details are soft (especially on the face), Post processing could also be improvemed IMO. 5 |

Just a lovely critter... So, big cool factor here is obviously the framing and the subject, negatives for me are focus seems overall a bit soft, and the huge black underexposed area on the primate. Oh, and what is that growing out of her shoulder?? Definitely should call the vet! ;) |

a bit soft in the focus for me...I really like super sharp, crisp pictures. |

Gorgeous...mmmm certainly some humour in that. Bit contrasty and the time of day with harsh light not to flattering if you wanted better "skin" tones to reflect the true beauty of mamoisell. Not even a true model would make the front cover of some girlie magazine in this light. |

She's lovely. I'm even persuaded Stevie's song was about here :) |

Seems like more of a zoo snapshot, I'm afraid. The lighting is pretty harsh, and the rope or branch coming out of her back is a bit distracting. |
