GREETINGS FROM THE CRITIQUE CLUB
Congratulations. You were there on one of those splendid treks to see the bears. A friend went exploring on one of those treks in that area a summer ago and came back with wonderful images. As, undoubtedly, did you. I have the feeling that you have many more splendid images of bears from this shoot.
These are awesome creatures, and it is no wonder that you wanted the image that was 'up close and personal.'
As far as a critique goes, this beautiful bear could have certainly used more space in the frame to show off its power.
I look forward to seeing more images from you at DPC.

Nice capture. I certainly wouldn't want to be too close though. |

Great image! but I feel the crop isn't just right. Too close maybe; like all of the story isn't being told? Or not close enough; perhaps it should have closer on the face? |

it seems that this is cropped just a little to tight...it could afford more space both above and below the shot...that given...you have excellent detail |

Nice capture. One thing to remember is the 800px dimensions could have been better. |

Great image. Too bad you didn't use the maximum allowed pixel size. I'm sure it would be even grander. |

I probably would have bumped this up a notch or so if it had taken advantage of the 800 pixel size limit. This seems a bit smallish. |
