| This get my vote for best floral photo in the best of challenge. Excellent use of light and contrast. Love the detail in the main subject, but the addition of the other flower in the background makes this much more than your run-of-the-mill flower photo. The relative minimalism of the image works well here, as does the border... subtle, yet effective. Nice work. |

| great picture, wonderful shadows...IMO since this was and advanced editing I think I would have gotten the two flaws out of the petals...other than that..a really good shot |

Like the B&W conversion here, it works well and makes the petals look almost translucent.
The only thing I think I would have liked to see here would have been a little more empty space, as it is the flower is quite "in your face" and I think some more white would have balanced the delicateness. |
