Greetings from the Critique Club!
Interesting that in the random draw I keep getting shots that I've already commented on.... Anyway, what I said after the challenge still stands. I just noticed your score - I would have expected it to have been higher, actually. From a technical standpoint, *I* like where the focus is just fine but there may be some who'd prefer it srtonger on the fly and would prefer the whole fly. But that would change the context of the picture, to me. Color is excellent, and as I said before the composition creates a nifty little world. |

| Awesome shallow DOF here with amazing rich color. I can never pull this off, and I've tried! Very nice work. I love how the perspective you've chosen creates almost an imaginary and complete world in this single little shot. |

| I am generally not a fan of fly pictures, but this is without a doubt outstanding. Your use of color is great and an overall technically excellent picture. |

| nice selective focusing on the stamen , shallow DOF impacts the bug a little too much making it more a distraction IMO, 6 |

| First impression is absolutely beautifull. Background works great but then..This need sto be portrait to get bug in to the full and slightly more depth needed on the bug. Still a nice shot and colours work well. Just to much on the right. |

| Wonderful colours. I wish the fly were more in the frame and a bit more in focus. Lots of negative space, I might crop some of that out. |
