GREETINGS FROM THE CRITIQUE CLUB
Wow, what a vista. Congratulations on this great capture of a stunning scene. And, as your comments show, the figure on the upper left gives a fine sense of scale to it all.
but, still, you didn't score as well as one might think with an image this stunning. You are new to HDR and I can see why you would like the results so much because of all that detail and color. IMO, this very fine image almost heads into the 'illustration' category. And there's nothing wrong with that, for heaven's sake! It's just that treatment doesn't go over terribly well at DPC.
so, other than suggesting that you might tone down the color on that yellow rock in the bottom right border area, I'd say you are on the right track, with very good observation and camera skills. You caught this incredible landscape at a spectacular time.
Keep up the good work. |

The grandness of the scene, and the overwhelming vastness, is captured very well by your lone silhouette perched upon the outcropping. |

I like the way the lone man standing so insignifigantly on the rock promontory gives such a sense of vastness......6 |

Very dramatic scene and well captured. The man on the hill gives a real sense of perspective. |

Cropping off some of the right part of the image might have made this more compelling. |

Great use of the person for scale; awesome sky. Is that glacial activity on the right? |

Very moody and wonderful to have the figure on the mountain. More interesting foreground element and a stronger directional light source to give more definition to the mountains would have made even better. |

great shot. IMO it could be better with the foreground cropped out a bit. |

The person on the hill giving soem scale to it all works well. The rock right in middle bottom is a bit bothersome for me. Its in the frame just enough to be seen but just out of it to not really have a purpose there |
