I hate it when my 10s end up down here. All because of a guard rail??

Nice angle. You had a good photographic eye to see this. But I would have cropped out the fence at the bottom of the photo. I also think the bird distracts from the whole scene which is more static and generally in good focus (which the bird is not). -stephan

Wonderful shot, but cropping off the barrior off the bottom would have added so much to it!

Great timing. One could quibble about the armco rail in front, but this is a most engaging photograph. 7 JEM

Great awesome picture. The bird really adds to it. Where is this, it is beautiful. Technically you got it right. Nice crop, great focus, great composition, wonderful subject matter, good centering of subject matter. Can really see depth and distance in the picture. Great job and awesome pic. Nice 9. PTL

Very nicely composed and fits theme well. The bird flying into the frame gives us some perspective as to the size of the structure, and the distant mountains make it look even bigger. There's an overall blue cast to the picture though that could have been corrected.

great shot without the guardrail

excellent other than the bird who wandered in; the guardrail should've been cropped as well imho

I see the technology, however it looks a little too much like a snapshot taken out of a moving car. Jacko.

This is a nice shot, but IMHO it needed a better crop at the bottom. Justine

Good shot - cropping out the lower guard rail may have helped a little.

Would have been much better without the guardrail, but overall still a nice shot.

WOW - lose the guard rail and I'll give it a ten, heck I'll do it anyways - 10

Lose the guardrail and this would be great!

Great image, if you take out this pesky guardrail at the bottom in the foreground. I think it detracts substantially from this image. Aside from that, I do feel this shot is exceptional. - Inspzil

Too busy. Way to many focal points for this challenge. Advice here is get close to the guard rail and really get a good shot of the Dam vertical with The whole Dam in the shot and not to much sky visible.

I'm not sure whether the bird detracts or adds to the photo. It may be better without it. DPz
