the first thing i thought about when i saw this, was your other shot, "showdown" for the sports challenge. both use negative space really well.

I can see where my voting doesn't match the herd- one of my two top marks for this one, I liked the effect enormously.

This was my only 7 (very high for this challenge since I don't like the technique-it looks like you did the selective desaturation in the composition which I prefer). I had a feeling this was yours. Really beautiful! It's almost like a painting.
