I like the low contrast pale pastel tones.

Another frog! This one is showing a bit of activity. Perhaps he didn't get the concept of the "still" in still life.

Nice fruit, nice image -- I like the concept/originality and the frog but the colors seem a bit washed out for my taste (Comment only, no vote)

I think the colors could have been a bit richer. A 7.

The lighting is a little off/yellowish but the composition makes up for it. Cute shot, well done.

Fruit? Frog? Fruit? Frog? Hmmm....what should I enter today? I know, I'll do both! :-) Honestly, it's "ok". The frog looks good...the apple seems a little flat (lacking contrast). A straight black background and an orange, lime, or lemon, and this would score 2 points higher. JMO of course. Good luck.

Cute and very nicely done with beautiful soft pastel colors but imo does not qualify as a still life because of the action taking place.
"A still life is a painting featuring an arrangement of inanimate, everyday objects, whether natural objects (flowers, food, wine, etc.) or manufactured items (books, bottles, crockery, etc.). The Tate Museum Glossary puts it very succinctly, defining the subject of a a still life as "anything that does not move or is dead".

With a living creature, I don't really consider this a still life but that's just me. :)
