 I'm pretty certain this kind of image won't do well on this site. I just have to satiate my curiosity. This photo was posted on another site and was very well received. So I’m curious about a different perspective.

Photo was taken in available light. Questions and comments have come up about the models hands. They are in fact the models hands and not a man’s hands. The reason why the hands appear as “rough” as they do is due to too much unsharp mask. I tried to bring out the detail in the body but it affected the hands in the forefront. Also, the model has very thin hands that make the veins more salient. This characteristic was slightly exacerbated by the use of USM. So I tried to address this with some cloning. I think it just made the hands look bad. The models hands do not look rough and are not man looking in any way. Also, some will invariably make comments about the piece of shirt left over the right breast. It was left for reason. First, cropping it would lead to cropping the entire left breast. Second, most of the cropping is in camera. The shirt was made visible to further enforce that nudity is implied. The image should reflect and almost spontaneous quality. I think that covers all the main points. We’ll see what we see.

You CLONED in the hands???!!!!??!?! WOOOOOOW You can't even begin to understand how impressed i am by that. WOW!

The photo is just beautifull, sensual romatic, all in one. Love it.

Again, I thank you guys for the great comments. Yes, i have only entered twice and I have done okay. My dissapointment with the site is not so much with my placement but rather with the placement of other photos. It seems that too many of the same ideas get voted highly. I hate to generalize b/c there have been some truly great winners. I just get tired of seeing some fantastic photographs get low votes b/c the subject is not a flower, sunset, or lightning. Again, I do appreciate all the great comments. Perhaps all I need is a break from photo review sites. I will return when my spirits and perspective are out of the slums. Thank you.

Actually, I like the model's hands.
The incidental emphasis (on them) you, apparently, would have preferred to avoid, speaks to me more profoundly and delicately than the more obvious sensuality of the larger part of the image.

To have both, IMHO, expands the emotional range of the photo.

Done with this site? You've only entered two challenges, placed in the top 5% on both, and you're unhappy? Placement is a consensus of several hundred opinions, not just a panel of photography judges. You should be proud! :-)

Okay so we scored it right after all! It really is a great shot. The whole shot can be looked at and taken apart piece by piece even though thats not what your supposed to do! The imagination runs wild wondering what she looks like. the curves and tones and sharp focus are great. Really really nice work. could have placed top 10 easy.

It's a beautiful shot. Lighting is great but I am not sure about her hands. Looks a bit rough and out of balance to me. But that's only slightly. Overall, it's a wonderful photograph.

Beautifully exposed and composed. Provocative image that shows excellent form through great use of available light. The only picky thing that I would dare suggest is that the small area of clothing (?) over the right breast is distracting. If, by removing it, the pic was too revealing then maybe just a slight crop would rectify it. Still an awesome image - well done (10)

Nice curves with great soft light flowing across them. The hands seem a bit harsh, reducing the softness of the whole image. The shirt (?) covering her right breast is distracting in my opinion.

The lighting here is perfectl, it casts just the right amount of shadow to make an already amazing shape body absolutely sensational. I love the cope as well, the whole thing simply works. My favourite of the challenge. 10+
