Placed the camera on a windshield tripod in my car and kept shooting while driving down to this Square which can be considered Lisbon's Center point (at least that's where people go celebrate the city's teams victories).

My initial plan was to go out near my house to a closer Square (Saldanha) which also considered as the city Center. I planned to talk to and shoot a local character Mr. Goodbye which has become famous because one day he got tired of beeing at home and decided to fight his loneliness by greeting passerbies. BTW he doesn't like to be called Mr. Goodbye, he likes Mr. Hello better because he says that's what he does.

People who don't know him, usually take him for a fool but he's a charming person when you get to know him and he his a very lucid person for someone who's in his 80's. He's a cinema lover and does a movie critic weekly with a young Portuguese movie director: //senhordoadeus.blogs.sapo.pt/

Unfortunately he didn't show up on Saturday (his regular day), so I ended up driving around for shots.

Crop, straighten, curves, contrast and desaturation.

Hi Duarte, greetings from our Critique Club :-D
I can't believe that I got yours in the draw.

Well, I'll try to give it my best :)

Composition
It doesn't seem like it was shot from inside a car, you can notice any glass, any structure from inside, it really feels like your outside the car, so great perspective here. Good balance between road and sky, there's always a tendency to put too much road on these shots, and this one's very well done.

Lighting
This is were some people have mentioned, that the scene is a bit dark. Although it was night, probably a slower shutter speed would have got you longer trails and a bit brighter image. However, it would also mean that it wouldn't be so straight (damn these Portuguese streets, full of holes and bumps).

Processing
It's a shame that this was basic editing, because a careful dodging could have highlighted some points in the picture. It has a good processing, and you managed to retain a lot of details and colours. Just a little of fill light could have done the trick.

Overall
It should have placed a little higher, but maybe with longer trails it would have more impact.

Let's see some more photos!!

Um abraço!

This deserved better! I've never met Mr Hello (Goodbye) before, but I'll be sure to keep an eye open for him on Saturdays around Saldanha.

Abraço.

If the street was lit a bit more it would have fetched more marks

I like the sense of motion this shot gives. I think this would be better at twilight though, as some of the buildings are lost into the sky.

Can't really distinguish much here, use a tripod or part of a car for a brace.

Really shows the speed at which the car is being driven. Good example of a miz of stationary and moving subjects and a moving camera !

It's a little dark, but the leading lines are nice and clean and interest is increased by the longer exposure. Para onde é que ias? :-)

Duarte? :)

Como conseguiste que ficasse tão direita? E eras tu a conduzir?
Temos de fazer um anúncio "Don't shoot and drive" :)
