 Shot at Queen's Park. I took a similar image on Dec 30th, but reviewed it after the Best of 2009 challenge. So I went out to re-shoot. Sky was great, and the wreaths were lined up nicely.

Wow! Neat sky effect! The detail on the brickwork is awesome. I like how the wreaths give that little splash of colour and how the tower stands out from the sky.

The only thing I might have tried differently is a little more sky and a little less ground...

The brightly colored wreaths rather detract from the beautiful tones apparent in the sky and stone -- maybe a subtler use of (de)saturation?
