 I'm working to define a modern fantasy trickster character; this is my study for "the face".

Really, it's a carved wooden kitty head my folks brought back from Mexico. I taped a sieve to the underside to let me mount him on a stand. I don't have very many strobes, so for the complicated lighting I was after I locked down the camera and exposure and shot several versions with different lights. This final image is the summation of four layers of lighting: two warm and two cool.
