This has a fantastic balance and composition of elements. Really splendid - you can see it easily at thumbnail size. I think the focus is slightly behind the skater, which explains why this didn't score int he upper 6's.
I'm not overly excited about the processing but it has a nice hdr effect. Being that the focus is slightly off, I might suggest trying even heavier processing, exagerating the contrast and maybe adding a texture - I recommend this because I think the composition warrant this begin in a portfolio as a an "art" shot as opposed to a more commercial image.

| Would rather see it in black and white with no Topaz (or equivalent effect). I love the composition though. |
