I'm finding the background a little distracting. Nice focus on the flame.

This shot isn't too bad, you have a nice focus on the subject and it seems to be exposed fine. The problems for me is mainly the light from, i'm guessing a window, the background is distracting and the spot on the upper left. Good luck.
