I'm so dissapointed in myself. I entered this out of habit at the last minute because I was stressed not to have a FC entry after two years in FSM. Now I go back and look at it and realize what a mess I made of the processing. I was in much to much of a hurry at the last minute. Damn!

Location your backyard?! I think I hate you. But I'm still thrilled you shared this moment, even if you think you could have done better on the processing. Just an amazing capture.

this is superb...to be right there when this is going on is a moment in time. I have only one thing the head of the 2nd bird just looks a little funny to me...not sure why but all the rest of this is superb. Did you see the cover of Audubon Magazine? If not research that out...

Uh-oh; not a good thing when these guys get in a fight. Astounding moment to capture; I'm awed.

Looks like serious noise reduction on the right (or DOF didn't quite catch all of the other eagle or something) but the drama is evident regardless of technicals. Only thing I might try and "fix" would be to burn the pupil and outline of the eagle on the right to see if I could bring out more detail there and re-color/burn where the sky looks to be bleeding into the wing. I am still much more impressed by this capture than a technically perfect portrait.
