 The structure underneath the Main street bridge in Ft. Worth.


I'm really pleased with the play of light and shadows here. all it's missing is an ancient Egyptian sarcophagus.

Anticipated critiques:
-Should have centered the scene
-Too heavy on the tone mapping
-Needs a beautiful model in a wispy dress, leaning against a column and staring wistfully off into the distance. (Didn't have one available, sorry.)

Post-challenge notes:
Thought I had a stronger entry than what the average says, but that's the way mass appeal goes.

Thumbnail drew me in on this one and I love it... I wish people didn't vote free studies so harshly and just took it as "Wide Open Subject" and then just assessed the quality of the photo.

This one is great... great tones and depth of interest.

Beautifully done. The textures look very natural, so if you did use Topaz, you didn't push it to the texture obliterating stage. The tones look warm and very natural too. Nice job. A three for you.
