I admire you for entering this. Clearly it took a beating, but those who loved it really loved it. I didn't vote in the challenge, and this is my first time seeing it. All that white negative space does have a chilling effect. And if I hold my head just so, I think I even see a horizon...
'Cool' shot. |

I didn't vote in this challenge but I absolutely love the simplicity of this shot.
And, for me, the blur helps the motion. |

Welcome to the I-Get-No-Respect-For-Blurry-Shots Club! Although I have to say, 4.9766 is quite a high score, considering. :) This image, by it's very simplicity, benefits from that sense of movement from the blur. |

I love the colors and the watercolor effect the movement blur is creating. Against the white snow, it's fabulous. |

Beautiful composition -- really gets the feeling of "cold" across. But listen to Melethia -- crank up that shutter speed. 8P |

I really like this shot and gave it an 8
I am not suprised where it finished though, the majority on DPC think a good photo has to be pin sharp etc, they have no idea !

I gave you a 9. You deffinetly thought "out of the box" to take that shot and i think the blur gave a nice abstract touch to the image. I really like it and i think the voters were harsh on you. I'm not experient though, but i hope the comment counts too! hehe |

Woo hoo! You kept it under 5! :-) Helluva gap between the final score and the commenters' score. And a very very fine sub-5 blurry shot, if you ask me. |

Cold and delightful! A shorter shutter speed would help you stop that motion, you know... :-) |

I really like the motion blur, the whites are so white hard to tell there is snow, would had like more detail in the snow, still very cool shot. 7 |

I have looked at this for a long time. I like the perception of the skiers moving. 8 |
