What's wrong with a cat in a FS ??? You did well IMHO- I really like the composition & textures- especially her fur- do they get along , your 2 ? |

Oh, I get it now. Scratching my head trying to understand why I only gave this a six. |

When you know the story it's a great title and shot - without the background it get's a little lost . .

I don't understand why this didn't do better - and I would not have cropped the curtain. Lovely tryptich-ish storyteller. |

Deb, I almost never give good marks to cat shots. But this got a well deserved 7 from me. Also thanks for your comment on my shot at 1x.com that was entered simutaneously here and there. I don't know how I was published there and a little disappointed in my score at DPC.

Beautiful backlighting. I might have cropped to to exclude most of the mod print of the curtain. Lovel kitty. |

Love the light on the cat and the stare through a window we can't see a darned thing through. They do have much better eyesight than humans.
The curtain is jarring in pattern and color ... kind of detracts from the softness of the rest of the scene. Or emphasizes it, I suppose. No, I think I'd definitely crop it out and keep the low key stuff. Personal preference ;-) |
