Like a vision of the past, love the juxtaposition of the lace and grungy teapot! |

I love the timesless feel to this shot. The tones are perfect. |

Hey, thanks guys! :) I used a 5.6 on this one. I meant to put that in the description, but forgot.
James, here's the link to the Lensbaby site: //lensbaby.com/index.php I must warn you ahead of time that these are verrrrry addictive! ;) |

The blur to sharp on the lace is very interesting...it's like the best of both world. Very nice photo! |

Yup, I'd like to know as well, am guessing your not a big cropper Amy so did you use a ring with a big number on it? Great shot as always btw :) |

You'll have to forgive my ignorance but I'm not really sure what a lensbaby is or does (I'll have to go and do some research), this is a beautiful shot though, it has a quintessential essence which reminds me of going to my Grandmas house for tea on a Sunday. |

I want a composer. Couldn't make it work with the regular one. This is lovely. |

Love how blur corresponds with the waves of the table cloth. |

Nice tones with the lensbaby! The blur on the bottom drives your eye right to the subject... I'd like to see more blur here so maybe try a larger aperture disk. I like the one streak of light on the kettle. |

Nice! I think b&w was an excellent choice for this, allows all the textures of the various elements to have equal billing. |
