Amazing shot, but why on Earth didn't you crop the bottom third?

| I feel that, with just the sun and bird in the frame, this shot would have easily scored 0.5 to 0.7 more than what it would score now. The branch and leaves in the left bottom corner doesn't seem to add much value here. |
