Great image and thanks for bringing it to the freestudy. It is nice to see such a unique and interesting use of blur. Love It!

The ruin of many ... You have a wonderful sense of just so much and no more. Some call it manual focus.

Well, I said it during voting and I really meant it. Definitely my kind of blur, nicely done.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: I love this! I love the blurry base of the trees and how there is a soft glow there and how line of your motion suggests a quick whippish move. The coloration is great too - it offers a sense of warm sun despite the evidently chilly scene.

Critical stuff: Nothing really - though I'm not too keen on the title.

Overall: Great stuff!

Cool blur, and the title turns the lens flare into a feature. (I'm NOT part of the anti-title movement.)

I'm not sure the blurry effect adds anything interesting to the photo.
