Shot at the local park late on Saturday afternoon. I don't actually know who the team in blue and yellow were, and I don't know what the score really was, but here you go...

I didn't have time this week to go into town to find something more news worthy, but where we live a rugby game is big news :-).

Taken up close and personal as I was standing right on the touch line. Post processing was slight desaturation, USM, crop and then scale in gimp. No border this time round, as papers don't use them do they?

backsides are nice but faces of plyers works better

Nice work. A narrower depth of field may have added more drama to this. Depth of field is controlled through apeture (f stops). A larger apeture would make the depth of field narrower, and focusing on the player closest to you would have blurred the background. Remember the field of sharpness extends about 1/3 in front of the focus point, and 2/3 behind the focus point. Good work.

If you had framed this a little more centered, you would have gotten a much higher score

Pretty good photo. A photo with their faces would've been more 'interesting' as a sports shot. Good attempt.
