 Not a great photograph by any means, however...
As you may see, this is not the first time that George has scratched this doorpost. Alas, it may be one of the last. He has fairly advanced renal failure - something we've dealt with before with another cat. This time, with the vet's blessing, we'll not prolongue the issue. Euthanasia is booked for Friday morning.
So I just wanted to get one last picture of him in here.

Oh bummer - I guess that the event has happened by now. My condolences to you. That's a hard decision to make but we all know, it's always the right one. Hugs!

Sorry to hear about George's problems. We had a cat with similar problems a couple of years ago. It's hard to give up a friend but often just as hard to watch them suffer.

How sad. Poor George and poor you. Even though the decision is for the best, I know that that does not eliminate the heartache. Nice to get a shot which shows him just doing the usual.
