A really strong shot with an intriguing mixture of intimacy and (almost) poignancy . . the baby is clearly well fed and unharmed - but looks so isolated.

Maybe this is how a baby feels at first ? removed from the warmth and gurgling sounds of the body and brought out into life as we know it . .

Who knows :- )

Great shot though.

How could I pass up this one, once again an excellent example of lighting.

There are two things about this that take it from being a good shot to a great one. The first is the apparent narrow beam of lights you have used to isolate the subject (I'm not sure if that's what's actually happening here but it looks that way) and the second, for me anyway, is the fact that's it's an old looking uninteresting chair that you have used, which for some reason just seems to give the shot that much more appeal.

Love the light on the baby. If I were the mom I'd be very nervous and waiting to leap as soon as you were done shooting lol.

Some of these kids in poses like this on DPC are going to smack their parents when they grow up and see how they were exploited. The lighting is nice.
