Lighting: Works well for the desired effect, but the soft-focus may have been over-done.
Pose: great capture.
Background: The black is well done, but a lighter tone would have worked to convey the emotion better. |

A touchb too soft for my taste, but nicely done none the less. Great job of capturing the innocence of youth.

| I like the strong diagonal composition. Focus is a little too soft for my taste, and I'd like to see how it would look with some reflected light from the right to soften (not eliminate) the deeper shadows. |

| Just a tad too soft for my taste. (Just a tad - I get that its intentionally soft.) :) The lighting, composition and subject are excellent. |

| Love those glassy eyes. The expression and composition are great. If the focus were sharper and there was a bit more color saturation, this would be one of my top three. Well worth framing for yourself! |

| I love the softness here... and the innocence... what HUGE eyes! I would have liked her mouth to be maybe a tad bit sharper.. but its not too big of a deal... good job with your lighting.... really nicely done. |

| What a lovely expression - she's a cute little Cabbage Patch Doll! Eyes are so clear. Great composition, light and focus - although it does look like some selective blurring is at work, but it's sensitively done. Deserves to do well. |

| It's weird. This should be cuter but the eyes have an almost glassy look. Maybe it's the bright white reflections and that you can't see any whites? |
