 This sort of reminds me of the suns that little kids draw -- the ones that have rays coming out all around them. I'll have to figure out how to put a smiley face in there too.

Ah yes, there's the lovely Lensbaby lens flare/chromic aberration (or however you spell that) and very symmetrical - don't think I've seen it quite that nicely done before. You just need a gull or two to add the eyes and mouth for your smiley face sun!
