Greetings from the Critique Club.
First impressions are that she looks like a doll being wrapped up before being shipped off somewhere.
Technically this is a great shot. The lighting is great, although the catchlights right in the centre of her eyes makes her look even more doll-like.
Artistically this is a great out of the box shot. I keep wanting this to be bigger, or the model to be more prominent but of course if you do that then we will lose the context of the bubblewrap and start to say "what is that on her head". Te dreamy far-away look on her face adds to the lifeless doll fell - I don't know if you were after that look but it seems strong to me.
In summary a great shot that is a little different but not too different for DPC. Well done.
Feel free to PM me if you have any queries.

Reminds of a "Pierre et Gilles" portrait. Striking image. |

A mail order bride, eh? Did you find her on Amazon or EBay? Do they take trade-ins? |

LOL! Wonderful and humorous. I did a double take. Maybe just a little blown out in the highlights. |

The picture came out well, considering the headwear. Nice portrait! |

A skillfully lit studio portrait... with bubble wrap on her head.
Not sure what to say about that apart from that it's really bizarre. Pity the bubble wrap isn't positioned a little more attractively. It looks quite awkward, but not sure how you would make bubble wrap on the head look less awkward :)

At first it seemed too smooth and the bubblewrap was a bit odd, but I gave it that extra second of thought. Seeing as she's wrapped in bubblewrap am I correct in assuming she's supposed to appear porcelain? If that's the intent you nailed your execution. |
