I was going to use this as my January free study but decided the wing edge that had movement in it wouldnt have gone down well... Probably the wrong decision I am thinking

This is great, not noticed it before! Personally I think the movement in the wing tips is perfect, makes it more dynamic! When we were on the river at the weekend we had a couple of kites fly about 20m above us, I had the 10-22 on the camera though at the time!!

Nice, I've tried to capture some but the exposure never seems to come out right. It would be nice if the bird were a tad lower to have more space to fly into, but it still works well.

Exquisite photo. I've been trying to shoot birds in flight with little luck. Haven't come close to anything like thos yet.

even though the wing is showing movement i still think it adds to the picture

I love the use of negative space to isolate this majestic hawk! (I am asuming it's a hawk) What a great capture and well worth the walk! Also had to edit to say the back lighting along the top edge of the bird really is awesome!
