Took the snap from inside the house through the window blinds.Hence the out of focus blinds, which in my opinion brings impact in the image.

I would be interested in knowing if the blurred out blinds actually help to enhance the focus on the main subject or not. My thought process was motivated by tilt shift concept which brings focus to main subject by blurring top and bottom of the image. The blurring and its extent here is very different from tilt shift, still that's where i got the idea from.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

Sorry about the wait for your critique, this is coming out of the backlog!

I feel that the blurred out blinds did help to enhance the image, they give you the perspective of actually being there. I gave you a 7 for this image. The contrast between snow and tree is very striking. The only thing that could be changed would be to add some height. Although the border wouldn't work as good and the blinds wouldn't be as good. Taking some space off the sides wouldn't be good so I guess it's perfect like this haha. Congratulations on this image making it to your profile. Mine is set to show the top 9 pictures.

This is really neat. I like the wider perspective and the vignetting. 9

Very nice, was the stump in the middle the best crop?

I don't dislike your frame but don't really care for the faded areas. Not sure if that is a window or what. The subject is very nice for this challenge.
