The first time I got a chance to see the view of San Francisco from Treasure Island was sometime in late 2001, so it's taken me something more than eight years to get around to coming down there with a camera. Thank you, DPC, for getting me out of the house to brave the damp and chill and get this shot.

Took a bunch of pictures, decided on this one, probably made the wrong decision. There was another I liked better, but didn't think it fit the challenge so well.

Changing lenses for this shot somehow got a ton of dust on my sensor. (Fortunately, it's not too visible, but there are some hot spots that are bugging me.) I've managed to make it five years without having to clean my sensor, but it's finally become time.

Nicely captured. Wish there was a little bit less glare.

Great photo. Hard to crop this, would make nice panoramic.

That is a very bright looking city, you might want to try a different aperture or shorter exposure. I see what you're trying to do however it's coming up very hazy from the light hitting pollution. Also, your colour balance is out, if you make the lights more white a lot of the haze goes away (the cooler image gives a lot more definition).

normally I think photographers would have left more negative space to the top of this sort of photo - I like your take on it
