 What is more extraordinary as the American flag. And I believe it looks awesome at night. It is currently hung at half-mast in honor of the late President Reagan.

I do feel that this is one of those shots that simply does not communicate the feeling of 'Extraordinary' - certainly not without the title at the very least. In itself the subject is not out of the ordinary, although the fact that Reagan's passing has led to a rare status for the flag may be 'unusual'.

These issues aside it's good DOF and quite clear, but the image holds too little interest to engage. Compsition is OK but a portrait arrangement may have been better to position the flag less centrally.

Good take on the challenge. Black background is appropriate and works well with the flag. Diagonal composition is effective. Colors seem a bit subdued.

No more US flags, please! Have you seen many spanish (or other countries) flags? There are other things on life. Sorry but they are too many for my poor eyes.

Interesting shot, nice composition. I like the black background. I think there's too much pole and empty space though.

This isn't extraordinary. Also, I'd prefer to see a background, not just darkness.

Not extraordinary, not a great shot. Too dark and seems last-minute.

While the background is a crisp black, the flag looks a little washed out.

in my opinion this is not extraordinary, however it is a nice picture
