 I wasn't going to enter as I don't have any glamorous shoes, but at the last minute (OK, about 13 hours to go) I propped up my gardening shoes, purely for the texture they offered, and grabbed a couple of pics with my brand new wide angle zoom.

I used a chocolate brown fleece throw as a background so that it had similar tones to the shoes- just to give an consistent feel to the image.

Lit by natural light coming in through the patio doors.

Processed using Gimp 2.6.7
rotated
cropped to loose the empty space above the shoes
curves to get a bit more contrast and saturation
re-sized
sharpened
