 The idea for this popped into my head as I woke up this morning. I'd been considering a couple of other ideas all week but decided to shelve them in favour of this one.

I believe there are quite a few romantics here at DPC so I'm hoping it might do OK.

For the set up I used two small softboxes - one directly above and one to the left. I used a white reflector at the front and a gold one to the right.

I said to my wife, as I handed her the bunch of roses, "Do you think I'm cheap giving you these flowers after using them in the photo?"
She folded her arms and raised one eyebrow. "Just put them in a vase," she said.
"I'll dedicate the picture to you," I crawled.
She gave me a sort of half smile. "Hmm," she said.

So, this picture is dedicated to my darling wife Anna, with love.

Nice concept. Maybe the 'lady' shoe needed to be a perfect new one to emphasise the contrast between the two. What did she reply by the way?
