 The specks are from the dance surface the dancers were on. I wish I could clone a few out. I love to photograph ballet dancers....just the fluidity of the movement really and the poetic nature of the mood, inspires me.

I guess some people don't really know the dance world. The floor is well used and loved...hence the scuffs. Can't get rid of them in basic editing. The is a barre, used in ballet. She is dancing a modern ballet dance and hit this spectacular pose for me. I had my own dance show given by this wonderful ballerina. She is not exhausted resting on the bar....I am positive that dancers don't rest like this.

I love the dramatic pose and lines formed by her body and find the floor scuffs add dimension. I also like the double sided rim lighting which is dramatic, mostly separates subject and background, and fits the image well.

Original pose and excellent combination of lines and figure. Light a little harsh on the legs but this is one of the best in this challenge.
