I love the red you captured in its eye. I'm learning about composition in a photography class right now and have been told that the subject usually looks best if there is a bit of negative space to the right or left (left in this case) of the subject. This may improve the image slightly, but overally I really love the details you captured. Very nicely done! -9

the hard thing about shoot birds is you really don't know what type of bird it is which is what makes this bird extraordinary??? nice DOF, good centering and great color.

I pulled the picture and cropped it tighter on the right side, and it really makes it look a lot better, draws the focus in to the eye. As it is, there is too much green that is busy which takes away from the fabulous bird.
