I'm usually ok with selective desat but sometimes it works with an object more than just a color. I do like the vortex effect in gray. |

What an interesting idea. Really makes the most of the focus area, and creates really great negative shapes. Super creative thinking. |

a good processing job
i do like some desat images and this one is ok too
the fact that the center is nicely focused adds a lot as well |

It's a hibiscus! Interesting edit, personally I'm not a huge fan of the partial desat. |

I think the lack of saturation in the middle adds interest, although I'd also like to see it with the red. |

It just looks kinda strange now with a big looming grey vortex in the middle. Instead of looking like a flower it's like some odd sea creature! |
