 Well...the DQ finally came. I submitted my image on the Monday and when I got the request it took me one re-read through the rules to establish that it was the border that was in question. The border is a "photo edge" in Paint Shop Pro XI which falls under the category of clip art for DPC. Unfortunate because a lot of people liked the border. Also unfortunate because I rarely use ANY border and thought I would try this one out. I guess my task now is to try to create this sort of border legally and establish if it can be done legally. I've seen this sort of border done in the darkroom so there might be a way....

Sorry about the DQ - I can't see what the big deal is but I guess rules are rules (unless we want to try and change them).

First I went through and looked at everything. NOw I'm back voting. Loved this the first view and still do second round. Great in black and white and the frame adds for me. Hope to see this ribbon!

I would like to see this one sharper. Not sure what your aperture was set at but it looks like this is a bit soft and I'm not sure that's what you want for this photo.

I really like the lighting and feel of this one. As the hands are so prominent I feel the need for them to be the point of focus not the toes.
