Location: Lisboa, Portugal
Date: Feb 22, 2010
Aperture: f/1.4
ISO: 3200
Shutter: 1/30

Used a piece of cardboard with the shape of a couple dancing in front of the lens. The OOF lights all have the same shape as the cutout, very useful for Christmas Trees :)

The thumbnail doesn't show clearly the 2 heads and intrigues the viewer at first. When viewing the large format, the 2 heads appear as a surprise. The background is just perfect for this challenge.

Is this a Bokeh shot or did you get the little dancers another way?

Kinda weird, but I like it. Technically, I think you should have shot this at a smaller aperture to get the foreground silhouettes as sharp as the light in the background. A noise-reduction program like NeatImage would have nicely cleaned up the dark areas. Also, the foreground figures are just kind of straddling the cusp between silhouetted and detailed--I'd have preferred that they simply be solid black shapes.
