|Members of my Dem Boners dance team, doing their thang at the disco :-)
Setup was quite complicated. Even my own family thinks me slightly crazy, but a Dem Boners shot always drives me barking mad.
First, I used glue, not nails, to affix the guy to the floor. Then made the pants on the guy and the skirt on the girl. The fabric is from a zebra-print infant-sized top. I made the boobs on the girl skeleton from dollops of glue, and her top is from a doll. I already had the disco ball, though couldn't get the desired effect with it, so settled for sprinkling glitter all over the place.
The frosted glass chessboard was my next find, and it is set atop two panels of black bristol board, which in turn are set atop my kitchen table. The girl is suspended by nylon fishing line painted with a black sharpie, which in turn is suspended from a fishing rod...better upload a picture showing the incredibly sophisticated setup ;-)
Camera on tripod, put glitter in a spice shaker and used LED pucklight to try and illuminate the glitterball. When that didn't work, simply sprinkled glitter from overhead while shining LED all around so as to avoid hotspots.
Annnnnd...that's pretty much it boys and girls!
PS Oh yes, I made chest hair for the boy skeleton and a wig for the girl. Anyone notice? :-/
Oh yes I forgot the pp steps: RAW-TIFF conversion, crop, brightness/contrast, hue, resize, usm, sharpen, save for web
