a magical moment - the saturated leaves gives us hope in this barren land

This is lovely, well done. Going for a "painterly" effect you can make creative choices to take advantage of the white sky & snow to emphasize the trees. It'd look great on canvas on the wall.

Was this in blur? I have the feeling I left a much deserved and brilliant comment on it.

This is beautiful. I'm not usually a fan of selective desat but the way you delicately stroked in the colors on the bleached background is just delightful.

This is goes into my fantasy Posthumous Art Gallery. (but it's more like Manet than Monet)

m going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: This is a really beautiful image (have I seen it somewhere else it looks very familiar...). The number of close verticals suggest a double exposure, though looking more closely I don't think that is the case. I love the washed out colours with the vibrant red standing out and the water-colour-like greeny-blue wash in the background. I like how the whole image glows.

Critical stuff: Nothing at all.

Overall: A great piece of work which would look great on the wall.

I believe you're referring to "The Road to Giverny in Winter". The tree in the front really has the pointillisme-style. Well done

Almost an abstract, but not quite. I can see something like this on a greeting card, or an ad blurb for the Hallmark channel.
