This is lovely, well done. Going for a "painterly" effect you can make creative choices to take advantage of the white sky & snow to emphasize the trees. It'd look great on canvas on the wall. |

This is beautiful. I'm not usually a fan of selective desat but the way you delicately stroked in the colors on the bleached background is just delightful. |

m going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: This is a really beautiful image (have I seen it somewhere else it looks very familiar...). The number of close verticals suggest a double exposure, though looking more closely I don't think that is the case. I love the washed out colours with the vibrant red standing out and the water-colour-like greeny-blue wash in the background. I like how the whole image glows.
Critical stuff: Nothing at all.
Overall: A great piece of work which would look great on the wall. |

I believe you're referring to "The Road to Giverny in Winter". The tree in the front really has the pointillisme-style. Well done |

Almost an abstract, but not quite. I can see something like this on a greeting card, or an ad blurb for the Hallmark channel. |
